We take an ownership position across all our projects—whether undertaken independently or in partnership through joint ventures. Our team provides end-to-end development services, encompassing site acquisition, feasibility analysis (including cost estimating), consenting, funding, sales and leasing management, design coordination, procurement, and construction management.

Countrywide Properties evolved from a New Zealand-wide partnership between two visionary entities, Clearwater Construction and Countrywide Group, with a vision to “create innovative, quality property developments transforming lifestyles and landscapes.”

Our development story begins in the resilient city of Christchurch, where the spirit of rebirth prevailed after the devastating earthquakes of 2011. It was there that we leveraged on Clearwater’s 40 plus year design and construction heritage to a full services development enterprise, playing a significant role in the city’s rebuild. Along the iconic Victoria Street, we crafted innovative and contemporary commercial projects that stood as symbols of resilience and progress. These projects were the seeds that would later grow into a vast network of development.
